Megan Matthews, OTD, OTR/L, Founder, Occupational Therapist

Megan Matthews is a licensed and board-certified occupational therapist, and the owner of Empower Kids OT. Megan holds a Bachelors of Human Biology with a concentration in Neuroscience and a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Russell Sage College.

Megan has experience among a variety of settings including public schools, early intervention, and preschool intervention. Megan’s experience includes working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, physical disabilities, and more. Megan is passionate about neurodiversity-affirming care and disability rights advocacy.

Outside of her passion for occupational therapy, Megan devotes time to enjoying running, reading, and playing with her dog.
